I am Assistant Professor at the Dipartimento di Economie e Finanza (DiEF) - Università degli Studi di Bari "Aldo Moro".
My research focuses on the evaluation of social justice in the distribution of outcomes within a society, and on the measurement of individual well-being. Recently, I have also been working on matching theory and algorithmic solutions to allocative problems.
I collaborated to the creation of the Global Estimates of Opportunity and Mobility database, the biggest database of its kind to provide estimates on inequality of opportunity worldwide. This project is a collaboration between the International Inequalities Institute (London School of Economics), the Department of Economics and Finance (University of Bari), and various international institutions.
During the summer 2020 I obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Salento - Department of Economics under the supervision of Prof. Vitorocco Peragine. Moreover, in May 2024 I completed a PhD in Economics at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) - Université libre de Bruxelles, under the supervision of Prof. Bram De Rock.
I obtained a bachelor and a master degrees in Economics and Trade from the Department of Economics and Finance - University of Bari "Aldo Moro" followed by a Research Master in Economics from the Economic School of Louvain - Université catholique de Louvain .
I was born the 3rd of December 1992 in Altamura: a beautiful city in the south of Italy, close to Matera and Bari. I've had a short career as a kickbox and chinese-box fighter under the guidance of Master S. Matera . This adventure ended in 2015, I am still passionate about fighting sports but their practice is now more of an excuse for a beer with friends.
